So what does this day involve for the Escolania? Its mainly about sports, sports and more sports. Its difficult for the boys to do much proper exercise up in the school, other than running around inside a sports hall, because the mountain looming over us means thats there is no space for parks and proper pitches. The boys always seem to drop their jaws in amazement when I speak to them about the many pitches we had back in Yorkshire, as well as a huge sports hall, which make them feel a little insignificant in comparison to my school. However, they should see their link with Agora as more than a privilege, as they get to spend half a day swimming and the other half playing another sport.
The days finished at around 1 pm, when we get the bus back to the cremallera to return to Montserrat. Then they have lunch and the usual Friday afternoon timetable follows.
