Original walls; shopping street; villa mosaics; insulae (apartment blocks) mosaics; rich villa peristyle. The most important differences between the houses were their floorplan size and their mosaics. Rich houses had very elaborate mosaics, whereas the apartment blocks simply had rough stones arranged in patterns on the ground.
